New product line of gas non-return valves for thermal process systems
IBEDA with new product line for thermal process systems and heating processes with fuel gas and air mixtures
The new product line consists of check valves and flashback-resistant gas non-return valves in accordance with EN730-2 – so-called safety devices without integrated flame arrestor.
The new products are characterised by minimal cracking pressures between 4 and 6 mbar as well as extremely low pressure losses.
For thermal process plants and a variety of heating processes
Application areas of the products are thermal process plants in the area of public gas supply as well as heating processes for welding, cutting, and related processes that are operated with mixtures of fuel gas and air.
In this area the safety devices are used to safeguard plants, pipeline systems and tapping points and prevent gas return (check valves, model: GRV) or gas return and flashback (flashback-resistant gas non-return valve, model: GRS).
The safety devices satisfy the requirements specified in all relevant standards and directives, they are tested by BAM in Berlin and are registered under the DVGW certification mark:
NG-4390CQ0062 (gas non-return valves/check valves - Model: GRV) and
DG-4390CQ0061 (gas non-return valves (flashback resistant) - Model: GRS)
New IBEDA-product line replaces the discontinued series from INSUL
Because INSUL as of December 31st, 2014 stopped production of their models 1.123, 1.123F, 448, 448F, 449 and 449F, IBEDA can precisely cover this product area with the new safety devices, effective immediately.
Thus we ensure that for repair or repair replacement, even in existing plants and installations, no changes are required on the pipelines.
The gas non-return valves (check valves and flashback-resistant gas non-return valves) are available in three sizes, DN 25, DN 32 and DN 50 with thread from 1/2" to 2" as well as special thread, in brass or stainless steel.
